The Hobonichi Techo HON has a hardcover design built right into the book, so there's no separate cover to add — just pick it up and start writing, wherever you are. The contents match the standard Hobonichi Techo, with a full page devoted to each day and vertical weekly spreads that let you plan a full week at a glance.

Like every Hobonichi planner, the HON is built with thread-stitch binding, so it opens completely flat at 180 degrees and stays that way on its own — no holding the pages down. Pages are printed on thin, ultra-light Tomoe River paper, known for its smooth feel and excellent ink handling.

As a HON-exclusive extra, every book comes with a clear pencil board printed with a 5mm grid and 1mm ruler markings along one edge, plus a built-in pen holder to keep a pen clipped and close at hand.

The back of the book is packed with bonus content, including planner favorites like My 100 and the 365 Days Check-Off Sheet, plus new additions for this edition: a writer's-block-busting phrase list, a collection of hard-to-translate Japanese words, and a map of Hobonichi's home neighborhood, Kanda/Jinbo-cho.
