The 2026 PAL Planner now uses the renowned 80gsm writing paper from Japanese brand maruman, also found in the well-loved Mnemosynenotebooks. Smooth and reliable, it works beautifully with fountain pens, gel pens, and even highlighters.
Though dense and dependable, the overall thickness is about 2mm slimmer than the 2025 edition. Each planner also includes a sample sheet so customers can try the new paper before they begin.
